EPIRB SIGNAL SYSTEM GME MT403 (CAT.2)

MT-403 Epirb Cat.2 beacon sends Search and Rescue authorities a digital distress signal, including an identification code that is linked to the owner’s details. 
These beacons can be used worldwide, benefiting from the global satellite COSPAS-SARSAT coverage. 
Water and manual activation, antenna deploys automatically when the unit is removed from the quick-release mounting bracket or can be activated manually if desired. 
Transmission on 406 MHz and 121,5 MHz. 
Dimensions: 260x102x83 mm. 

Emergency beacons are required for pleasure navigation without limits from shore. 
From 1/1/2008 the units will be required on fishing boats for navigation over 6 miles from shore. 

Attention: 
MT-403 EPIRB will not activate even in water unless removed from mounting bracket.
